There is nothing more terrifying and exciting for a parent than sending off your teenage child to a far away place. One great source of stress for me was to have to find a new home for my son, a long 5 hours drive from where we currently live so he could start his new life as a college student. It was not until I met Sara and Patrick that I was able to leave the 'terrifying' part behind and focus on how exciting this time in our lives actually is! The moment I spoke with Sara on our first phone call I had an instant liking for her. She is warm, competent, responsive and most of all, she is able of making that human connection that is so important when you are navigating an emotional transition such the one I was living. She made me feel respected and supported. Most of all, because she is such a good listener, by the end of our first call, she knew exactly what I was looking for. Then I met Patrick, another special human being who spent a lot of time with my son and I as we moved from one apartment to the next, never putting pressure, nor pushing an agenda on us. Sara and Patrick turned the stressful task of looking for a place far away from home into an exciting and fun experience that my son and I will always remember and keep as a specially fond memory.
In all my years dealing with real estate agents over the several moves that saw me go from a continent to another and from Canada to the US and back to Canada, and from coast to coast and back again...there is no one who compares to Sara and Patrick!
